Yes there is another collection about to arrive and yes the title does suggest some sort of hair care range but don't get too excited Mac will not be taming your locks. But it will be suggesting the right colours to use on your eyes, lips and cheeks to compliment your hair colour.Genius!
I've never really thought about choosing make up that suits my hair, only really my eye colour and complexion but there might just be something in this theory. I'm hoping so anyway.
I can't wait for these to hit the shops, I know I say this with every collection but even though the packaging is nothing special which is disappointing, the colours are gorgeous. It would of been so nice if they had done colour coordinated packaging too.
The collection is split into three sections, Blonde, Brunette and Redheads each consisting of three eyeshadows, two lipsticks, two lipglasses and a Mineral Skinfinish(MSF). There are also three brushes and three khol eyeliners for this range.
Mac have done really well with this collection because the colours are really wearable and I want it all, even the ones I'm not supposed to have. Ok so I know the whole point of this is that your meant to buy the shades they choose for you depending on your hair colour, nice idea but after looking at the collection I'm not convinced.
What I mean is I want the other colours aswell and I'm not going to dye my hair or wear a wig as one friend suggested so I'm going to ignore the colour selection bit. As much as I respect Mac and what they are trying to do it's not going to work on me. I'm just going to buy what I like and not be put into a specific category = blonde, I'm going to unleash the inner brunette and redhead within.
Expect your coiffeur friendly collection at your Mac store early January 2009. For more information and to see the full collection and colours go to Temptalia's website.
