I made a decision that in 2009 I am going to stop buying impractical and extravagant makeup items. This gorgeous Limited Edition lip compact by Chanel is going to test my willpower to the extreme.
The LÈVRES SIGNÉES CHANEL Satin Lip Colour has five pretty satin lip creme shades, from a pale pink to a rich plum, which form the shape of that legendary CC logo. I'm not sure I'd wear them all but, then again, this is a compact designed to be shown off rather than made use of.
As part of the Spring 2009 collection it should be hitting counters this month.

Oh my gosh - that is so gorgeous! I have a huge weakness for chanel limited editions...
So far I haven't made too many purchases I regret, but I have plenty that I never used up, like certain shades of eye colour or something like that. I also went through a phase of trying to find the perfect red lipstick, and failed... so I have several shades of red which don't really suit me... The search continues lol!

I have tested it at the Chanel counter and the colors really were not my favorites. It is cute packaging but the amount of product is definitely way too little for me. I would rather buy a Chanel Glossimer for the money.
