I've been meaning to put this post up for the last week or so but I've been so busy with my Uni work, ahh dissertation time, that I forgot all about it.Everyone has been raving about Chanel foundations recently and after hearing so many great things (Pixiwoo was also a huge contributing factor) I was desperate to get my hands on some. So this haul was meant to consist of only that but ofcourse a few other goodies caught my eye.
I ended up buying the Mat Lumiere in number 2, Clair, I opted for this one over the Pro Lumiere because I'm prone to an oily T-Zone and was hoping it would control the shine.
I am going to review this in full this week but on a short note I love this foundation, it's long lasting, matte but not lifeless and gives great coverage. My only negative is the shine control, it does hold up well on most of my face but on my nose it just seems to melt off, apart from that 5*!
Also from Chanel I picked up a twist waterproof eyeliner in Espresso, it's a gorgeous woody brown and is great for getting the perfect winged eyeliner effect.Loving Givenchy at the moment, I was hooked on all things golden from YSL but have moved on to all thats sleek and black ( namely Givenchy and Chanel)! Someone recommended Lash Pearls to me so when I spotted it for £2 reduced from £16 I had to try it!
Ok, so I haven't tried it yet but I will, intrigued, apparently a drop of it gives your lashes pearls on the tips??!!
A review is also coming for the last item I picked up, Givenchy's Phenomen'Eyes, an evil looking bit of lash kit! One word WOW!!
As mentioned above does anyone have any tips or tricks for stopping foundation sliding of my nose?!please, its the bane of my everyday life!

Nice haul.. look forward to the foundation review. Where did you manage to get lash pearls for only £2?! I am also going through dissertation hell atm, ive never been so stressed in my life. Good luck, it will all be over soon! xx
Ive heard quite a lot of talk about that Chanel foundation. Really looking forward to hearing your more detailed review. :) As for the nose issues, I also have an oily t-zone and personally, I find that MAC's matte cream as a primer helps. (But I know primers are quite a personal preference thing). I also touch up with some of MAC's blot powder which I love. Thats all the advice I have Im afraid. :) x

Ooo, i have a house of fraser outlet near me too! They have allsaints clothes for about a third of the original price. I'm also thinking of getting the chanel foundation :) x

My favorite Chanel...I had the same issue with the the foundation coming off my nose.I use to apply it with a foundation brush on my nose which made the make up come off easily even when setting with powder. So i warmed up the foundation in my hand and made it super blendable enough for my nose to actually grab it.
I have the same problem with foundation sliding off my nose. The only thing that has worked to keep it from moving at all is the make up forever hd powder. I use it with my ysl, giorgio armani, and mac foundation and it works with all of them.
hi holly, i'm not sure if this will help because my foundation doesn't slide off my nose but i do have an extremely shiny t-zone sometimes...=[ anyways, i went to a sephora and was recommended laura geller's makeup matte maker (invisible oil blotting powder). it's a fine white powder that feels pretty smooth and i just pat some on over foundation. it really does cut down on the shine immediately and it lasts for about four-five hours on me. it comes with a mirror but no brush or pad =/. i've been using it for two weeks, and it's pretty decent although i've noticed very, very slight drying after i apply it but it's nothing that can't be fixed with better moisturizing. best yet, if you buy it from sephora and it doesn't work for you, you can always return it! sorry for the looong post!

Another great haul hol- can't wait to try that mascara and i think you should do a look with the lash pearls- sounds strange!x
