As women we don't think twice about booking into a salon and spending £50 on a facial or investing our hard earned cash on the latest skincare products and potions in the bid to get a flawless face.
After discovering this little gem at The Body Shop a few months ago I realise now non of the above is necessary, all you need is a few quid and a buffer sponge to give your skin a daily boost.
My skin has been transformed since using this little sponge as part of my routine. It isn't just me whose noticed either, people have been commenting on my cleaner and clearer skin since Christmas.
In essence its a similar concept as using a muslin cloth to cleanse your face with your daily wash but much easier to use. The handle makes it easier to hold and move in circular motions around your face.
It is also slightly more abrasive but not at all harsh which means deeper cleansing and leaving the skin refreshed and smooth.
Another great thing about this buffer is that it works with all cleansers, whether you use oil or gel, drugstore or high-end, no matter what you use to wash your face with the buffer will give great results.
If you want to unclog your pores and rid your skin of nasty blemishes and imperfections I highly recommend the facial buffer. It would work well on all skin types even sensitive as it really is gentle and I've also read on the website that it's great for dry skin types to remove the dead skin cells.
Has anyone else tried The Body Shops skin saviour or anything similar? Did you see results like I did?

This is a bit like the concept of using exfoliating gloves! Thats what i use on my face and body, its takes 2 mins to exfoliate it all!! xxx
I haven't tried this but after reading this review I am on it to get this product into my life! thanks x x
Boots own brand do a great buff puff, they are a completely different way to exfoliate, with much more noticeable results too. It sounds odd but i feel alot cleaner and my face feels alot fresher and brighter than usual, normal St Ives.
Will def have to checkout the Body Shop one, free delivery too! xxx
Great tip!
This looks great! Your skin always looks lovely so it must be working :) x
I really want to try this now. Thanks for the post! xx
i never thought of doing this since i exfoliate about 1-2 times a week. but your skin looks amazing so i'll definitely give it a try.
thanks for sharing!

I tried using a sponge exfoliator from superdrug and it works great :) It does not look like this but I can see it working! I will defo give this a go :)
I've used the exfoliating gloves for ages, but I think they are too "aggressive" to use on my face..
I've recently purchased a microfiber cloth that removes makeup without detergents (I am still amazed at how this is possible!) and it oxygenates the skin too, even though its exfoliating action is not as effective as I'd like it to be!
I have been using a folded exfoliating glove and I too have seen a big difference.I think im going to get this though.Clearly the gloves arnt made for the face so you have to watch how much pressure you apply.I always see these type of posts after iv been out and walked past the shop lol
sounds interesting.. I always just use a cotton washing cloth. you thinks this works better?
♥
I'll have to try this...I normally use a muslin cloth but this looks great! :) x
I bought one today after reading this, can't wait to try it!!!
I use one of these too, really rate it, makes my skin feel fab and definitely more glowy afterwards x
I've been using the Boots equivalent of this off and on for a while, but like that this one has a little loop for you to put your fingers under.
I earlier this week, tried it and its way better than the Boots one - it still exfoliates but its not as harsh. For the first few days the Boots one feels like wire wool and you have to break it in before it feels comfortable. There's none of that with this one at all.
In fact, I liked it so much that yesterday I bought another one for backup. Thank you so much for the tip!
great review! i've never heard of it, but i'm definitely going to purchase today :)
Bought this last weekend and just got round to trying it out last night and tonight, and my I honestly feel a difference already! Fingers crossed it works as well forme as it did for you :-)
Your skin looks beautiful so I'm hoping for big things xx
I picked one of these up a few days ago and am loving it. I was given a Clarisonic for Christmas but sent it back because I didn't like it at all and it made no difference to the appearance of my skin. But since using this Body Shop buffer all of my flakies are gone and I notice that my moisturiser absorbs better plus my pores are looking clearer. All these results for just 3 quid? Definately my bargain of 2010!
I came across this post a couple of days ago and have since been obsessing about getting my hands on one of these. And I have! I definitely feel cleaner and less 'cloggy' after a couple of uses, especially after using liquid foundation. Thanks for the review...
