If you'd have asked me a week ago what nail polishes I'd be packing in my suitcase ready for my holiday next week I'd have said, a classic red (Cherries in the Snow), a bright coral (Chinaglaze IV still a firm fave) and maybe an ocean blue (Mavala, Aqua Blue). That was until I came across Revlon's latest colour, Gray Suede in Boots last Friday. Don't be fooled by the name, there is nothing grey about this shade, it is a mouthwatering soft butterscotch almost like the colour of my favourite Frappuccino, Cafe Creme (yum).
My photo unfortunately does not do this polish justice, it comes out more yellow above but in real life it has a subtle tinge of pink to it.Deceptively the shimmer you see in the bottle does not translate on to the nails (phew) so don't be put off if your not a glitter fan like me.
I have worn nothing but this polish all week and I love it, especially on shorter nails, so for now I'm shunning pastels and brights and opting for the naked nails look.
I will however be making up for the lack of colour by painting my toe's in an extra bright fuchsia by Barry M.
Have you spotted Gray Suede on your Revlon shelf yet? What did you think?xxx

I have this to try on my nails, but I haven't got round to it, they are currently bare though, So I think it will be my next notd!
@Sophie - at first i thought hmm a little murky but it grew on me and i love it nowx
Gorge colour! Looks really sophistaced and I now want badly! Do you have any of the other colours from Revlon? I have never tried their polishes but I am craving the coral one and the lilac one and now this one of course! xoxo
@The Fashion Teller - its 2 for £7 in Superdrug at mo, quikc go!!yes i have lots of revlon really great quality!xx
Hi holly, i was just wondering what the formula is like? I've recently bought Minted and Tropical Temptation and the formula for both of those is awful, inconsistant and they require 3-4 coats to get it opaque! Is this similar or not? I'm still annoyed that boots would not accept a return so now i am stuck with the above mentioned polishes and i hate them, so no i am extra cautious when buying any nail polish.
@Ramlah - oh no that's so annoying, well to be honest i really like this one its creamy and easy to apply, three coats tho, but i find all nail polishes need this many on me?? I've had other revlons and like them not tried minted tho!x
Really lovely, i love the neutrals more and more lately. Like you say great for shorter nails like mine xx
Wow that colour is right up my street! I didn't know it was even available yet xx

I love neutrals like this for when, like you said, you've just chopped off your nails.
I have been looking for a colour like this one. I think I will take advantage of the 2 for £7 offer, thanks for that x

I'm so happy I found someone who tried out this color. I saw it last last week and was a bit confused by the name and you translated the color perfectly, butterscotch! It looks great. I hope the quality is fantastic because the other new colors from their line are beautiful as well.
This is quite pretty, I never considered Revlon nail polishes, but the fact that it has a little pink in it makes me really interested in this color!
love neutrals!
ill have to give revlon a go :)
I have to try this - it looks gorgeous!
OOOO I LOVE RVLON.....
I LOVE YOUR BLOG...

This is beautiful! I will have to try it soon. I also like Barry M Mushroom and Models Own in Nude Beige for the same reasons, I must have tried too many brights in the run up to my holiday :)
I love Samoan Sand by OPI for a nude nail but it's a bit sheer, this looks perfect !
