Carmine - Beauty's best. In a box.

Remember last week I mentioned an exciting meeting I couldn't wait to tell you all about, well today I can break my silence about it and am allowed spill the beans so to speak.

About an hour or so ago, Carmine, a new beauty subscription service launched online, yes you heard right another beauty box is on the block, but this time it's promising to think outside of the box and bring something fresh to the samples service.

Subscribers to Carmine will receive an exclusive beauty parcel packed with five hand picked, deluxe sized samples of the latest and greatest cosmetics on the market every month.

Each sample will be luxury sized and big enough to try out for the amount of time needed to form an opinion making it a great way to open your eyes to products you never knew existed or would work for you.

To ensure you receive products that will suit your skin type, colouring and scent preferences Carmine have come up with a clever beauty profile section so each parcel will eventually be personalised to each subscriber, making it easier for you to discover products you'll love!

Take it and see, I was Classic, Glam. Spot on!

Ok, so we've established you get a beautifully packaged box of surprises that's personalised to you but now comes the thinking outside the box part and my involvement.

Carmine want to be much more than just a box delivered to your door, they want to connect with beauty addicts and allow us to share our experiences as a community with one another and the brands themselves through their website.

You will be able to rate products, have discussions and share your favourites with other make-up lovers as well as get a deeper insight into products and brands you will receive plus VIP access to special offers and events.

So where do I come in?

Carmine wants to be able to offer you great online content, an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into the beauty industry with video tips and tricks, beauty expert interviews and guest beauty columns from beauty bloggers (that's me).

I am one of the six freelance beauty columnists that will be contributing to the website writing two articles a month! Exciting! I can't wait to share the ones I'm working on right now with you.

Although I will be working alongside the lovely Carmine team this won't affect my opinions or thoughts on the service, impartial as always.

The subscription service is £10 a month with a £2.75 p&p charge and will be available to order from today so go check out their site if your interested.

Are you subscribed to any other beauty box service? What do you think yay or nay?

We have something similar in the States called Birchbox. I haven't tried it yet but my friends who have really love it and sometimes they send full-size products.

Sounds cool and Yaaaaaaay for you :0)
Just did the test thing and it says I am edgy sounds weird for an almost 46 year old lol. I like how they mentioned the P&P at the start not like glossybox who reeled people in then added it so I cancelled. I think I will give this one a go as I like the suprise element of these things :0) xxxJoolsxxx

This seems a great idea in terms of the profiling, I have stayed away from some of the sample boxes in the past because I can't justify spending money on samples I either don't like or won't use. Congratulations on being asked to write about it! I have been reading your blog and watching your videos for a while now and I think you deserve to have been chosen x

Well deserved Holly.

But I wish they offered international shipping (I live in Australia).
