Festivities

It seems like I haven't blogged in ages - time just seems to fly by. I've spent the last week and a bit celebrating Christmas by stuffing myself, drinking too much and shopping (of course) in London.

Our new 'family' home, which has taken a good two years to become habitable, luckily was ready just in time for the festivities. It was perfect. Well, almost apart from the distinct lack of Internet connection, hence no blogging/vlogging from me recently!

Above are a few snaps from the family album I thought I'd share with you as well as the obligatory 'What I got for Christmas' bits. Yes, ashamedly I love to read these posts. I shouldn't but I do.

Hopefully I'm not the only one. Which reminds me I must catch up on all of your blogs. Let me know below your links so I can oooh and ahhh at your lovely gifts too. So nosey! Apart from the predictable gift cards and cheques, (apparently I'm difficult to buy for?) I was lucky enough to be treated to the pile above.

My very first Onesie (or Onepiece) which I practically now LIVE in is amazing, how have I not had one of these sooner? This all in one hoodie/trackie makes slouching around so much more fun.

You can't beat a classic white shirt. I've been on the hunt for one for months and came across this Thomas Pink one, LOVE it. It's the Pansy if your interested.

I don't usually receive beauty gifts anymore, simply due to the size of my current collection. Some people seem to think I have too much already. NEVER - I'm sure you'll agree, you can never have too much makeup.

I didn't have a wish list so to speak, but a few family members did ask if there was anything I needed. The only thing I NEEDED was a back up of my beloved Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24hr foundation (weightless, coverage and lasting power) - the others were just nice surprises.

(L-R) Lancome Cosmopolitan Kaki polish, Creed Love in White perfume, Alex Monroe Horseshoe pendant, Lancome Teint Idole Ultra and Nars Douceur blusher.

Last year completely whizzed by, 2012 was a bit of a mixed bag for me personally and as I result I wasn't able to really focus on my blog much. Out of my four years writing this, it was probably the most difficult but THANK YOU for baring with me and my sporadic posting.

Wishing you all a very, very Happy New Year!!

I really love that Creed perfume - I steal a spritz every time I walk by it - very envious!

Speaking of the new year, my resolution is to get clear skin and I'm thinking of trying that foundation. Is it any good for acne-prone skin? I also bought a whole range of Yon-Ka products and bought Dr. Murads 'The Water Secret' so fingers crossed! I'm writing a whole piece about it so check it out here!

I have no idea why you disappeared from my blog list but I've re-found you and now following through a new blog. Might I just add that that man next to you looks like Simon Baker? Happy 2013, let's hope this is the year for you! I've had some pretty rough years and last year was one of the worst but somehow, I changed into a better person just before the end of it and now I'm welcoming 2013 with open arms!

Yay!
